Moving to Xiamen

Formerly known as Amoy, Xiamen is the home to many overseas Chinese whose return to Xiamen contributed to rapid economic development of the city.It has a population of 3.5 million.

Are you fond of music, especially piano? There is an island called Gulangyu, also known as Piano Island, where you can enjoy a peaceful weekend getaway. Many foreign diplomats and missionaries used to live in this island and so you can still see many beautiful old buildings from those days. Additionally, they have a piano museum that houses approximately 200 pianos collected from all over the world. You may even be treated to a performance from one of the staff.
